The Lead Mentor/Robotics Coach provides vision, leadership, and continuity for MSA’s FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team, working alongside a co-lead mentor to guide the direction of the season, coordinate subteams, and serve as the final authority on leadership decisions. Responsibilities include mentoring student leaders, ensuring compliance with school policies, enforcing behavioral expectations, and serving as the main point of contact for internal and external communications. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as a passion for STEM education and youth mentorship. Meeting times are Tuesdays from 6-9pm in the fall and three to four evenings per week starting in January. This role has a stipend of $2,000.

The Head Coach will help to plan and administer practice, coach the Varsity and JV teams, and complete various administrative tasks. Must be available for practices and games starting at 4:00pm and into the evening, Monday through Friday with some Saturdays.
